About
Launched in 2014 with the idea that every house can be both beautiful and functional, Fobes Hill Studio helps others achieve style and family-friendly living.
After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree from Western Washington University, Kelsie soon realized her true passion was interior design. In 2009 she went back to school and completed the Residential Design program at the Art Institute of Seattle and turned that passion into a career. Gaining experience working for two notable design firms and an architecture firm, she developed and honed her skills. In 2014 after starting a family, she opened Fobes Hill Studio and began bringing her clientβs dreams to reality.
Spanning projects in commercial, hospitality, and residential, she decided her passion was in residential design. She found she enjoyed helping clients through the construction process which can be overwhelming. Founding Fobes Hill Studio allowed her to bring her technical knowledge and clean aesthetic directly to her clients while eliminating a lot of their worry.
Since then, she has worked with clients around the country from large new builds, to simple stylistic updates. Her approach to design encourages client collaboration with the end result genuinely reflecting the familyβs life. Kelsie believes a home can be both tailored and livable, and she enjoys marrying those two elements in each project.
